Met Office Work Experience
There is a range of in-person work experience opportunities on the Met Office Careers website, one of which is based at Watnall in their Field Service Engineering Team.
In order to be able to apply for one of our in-person placements, students first need to complete our online work experience programme. Alternatively, they may like to complete our online work experience over a scheduled work experience week, which would make them eligible to apply for an in-person placement in a subsequent year, if they wish.
To access the programme, students will first need to create a Springpod account (if they do not have one already). They can then follow the Forecasting Your Future link to sign up. If assistance is required, this can be accessed via the Springpod helpdesk hello@springpod.com.
